October Sky

October Sky poem

October sky

grey above –

Sun glow

claws at

southern edge.

Daggers of rain

cold, vindictive.

Leaf blown,

withered.

Slick wet paving

mirrors sky.

Grey on grey.

    Daggers of rain …..

    Wonderful x

  2. Kieron says:

Lovely. I think of myself as a secular heathen at best, but it somehow reminds me of the Lords Prayer: on earth, as it is in heaven.
